Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, a reworked edition of the first three games in 4K Ultra HD, is coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 14th, announced the publisher EA on Tuesday. It was too a short film that will bring a tear in the eye of an unsuspecting fan.
BioWare’s original trilogy, originally released in 2007, 2010 and 2021, and 40+ downloadable items of content will be included in the package. It will include improved character models, high resolution textures, new lighting, depth of field, and other visual enhancements.
The collection will also be playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.– The next generation consoles reduce the loading times of the games.
“Remastering a game, let alone three, is a huge undertaking as it includes over 100 hours of gameplay, but we wanted to do it for our fans as well as a new generation of gamers as they step into the legendary Shepard story would like.” Mac Walters, the project manager of the collection, said in a publication.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was unveiled last November, along with news that a new Mass Effect game is in development.
