2022 has only just started, but we’re already looking at that iPhone 14 start later in autumn. Apple is still very popular iPhone 13 Go to market, but the company is preparing its next big thing. That includes a possible radical change to the iPhone 14 Pro phones.
leak DylanDKT said on its Twitter page that the iPhone 14 Pro models will have Face ID technology under the display, which means the notch might finally die. If Dylan is right, a punch hole replaces the tired old notch and makes for a very modern looking iPhone.
the best android phones Enjoy this lovely look where the display takes up almost the entire front of the phone, except for the cutout for the front camera. In fact, phones are like that Galaxy S21 Ultra and OnePlus 9 Pro do that iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max look out of date in comparison.
I can confirm information about a pinhole camera for the Pro models of the iPhone 14. Face ID hardware is placed under the display. To ease any concerns, the functionality of these sensors has not been adversely affected by this change.January 6, 2022
Dylan’s tweet goes on to say that Face ID will not suffer from the movement under the display: “The functionality of these sensors has not been adversely affected by this change.” That means, according to Dylan, Face ID should work just as well on the iPhone 14 Pro as it does on iPhones with a notch.
Up to this point, Dylan has proven to be a pretty reliable leaker. He accurately predicted some of the details about the new MacBook Pros before they hit the market, as well as a few other Apple-related things.
Some other rumors have it that the hole punch cutout will be pill-shaped, so egg-shaped rather than circular. If you’d like an example, look back at the cutout for that Galaxy S10 Plus from 2019. In this case, Samsung had a larger section for the two front cameras. It is unclear whether Apple will take a similar path or whether the company simply needs more space for sensors that do not work directly under the display.
From the looks of it, it seems like the non-Pro iPhone 14 models could keep the notch. Rumors currently say that Apple will adopt two sizes for the next few iPhones: a 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and a 6, 7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max.
That’s in line with what we’ve heard about the mini-line’s demise. It would also mean people who love big iPhones don’t have to jump on the Pro Max model. In fact, respected Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said the large non-pro model could cost less than $ 900.
