The highly requested window resize feature is now available on Google Keep

Google Keep is introducing a new feature that will allow users to resize their app window on Android devices. This new split-mode window resizing feature will help make multitasking easier, especially for users of Android tablets, flip phones, and larger Android phones. The feature is currently being tested and is expected to rollout soon. The update will allow users to adjust the size of the Google Keep app window according to their preferences, unlike the current version which only offers default size or full-screen mode.

A tipster collaborating with Android Authority shared a video showcasing the new feature where users can drag a slider to resize the Google Keep app window. This feature will be especially useful for users who multitask frequently and rely on the Keep app for note-taking on their Android devices. It is anticipated to work well on Android tablets, folding phones, and larger Android phones that are primarily used in landscape mode.

The update also includes a sliding panel option in a split window layout for the Google Calendar app. This feature is expected to debut on Android phones with displays having 600+ pixels per inch. However, the exact release date of the feature is still uncertain as it is currently hidden behind a flag within the app.

In addition to this new feature, Google Keep has recently seen significant changes with the introduction of a renewed toolbar. The toolbar, in the form of a floating pill-shaped panel, occupies less space and provides essential tools such as creating notes, lists, and notes with drawings or images.
