The government is supporting its own AI introduction with $225 million

The federal government will invest $225 million in AI for its own use over the next four years, primarily through the GovAI service and enablement capabilities.

The funding is one of the key technology-related allocations in the Mid-Year Economic and Financial Outlook, or MYEFO, a regular budget update traditionally announced in the run-up to Christmas.
