The demolition work at the headquarters of Oracle Corp. start in Nashville

Oracle Corp. has begun laying the foundation stone for construction to begin new headquarters campus in Nashville.

The tech giant was has been planning its Nashville hub since at least 2021when the project was first publicly announced. Now demolition work and other preparatory work have begun.

Oracle owns more than 70 acres of land in the River North area on Nashville’s East Bank. Some of the company’s properties contain warehouses and other industrial buildings. The company has begun demolishing some of these buildings to pave the way for a major renovation that is expected to be completed by 2031.
