Despite the high AI adoption rate in the Middle East, the region faces a paradox. While AI experiments are almost universal in regional organizations, only a minority of organizations have translated pilots into measurable business results.
This has already been found in other studies. For example, a 2024 global study found that only 22% of companies worldwide had progressed beyond pilot programs to generate tangible AI value, and only 4% were actually scaling AI across all business functions.
