Cooperative Research Center Grants (CRC-P) fund short-term, industry-led collaborative research projects of up to three years. These are open to all sectors.
As part of the AI Accelerator initiative, CRC-P Round 19 includes up to $20 million for projects to help companies and researchers across Australia accelerate the development and commercialization of AI.
We are looking for projects that develop or improve AI systems and technologies in key areas including:
- Healthcare
- agriculture
- resources and energy
- advanced manufacturing.
The AI Accelerator initiative will also support AI innovation through the 28th round of Cooperative Research Centers (CRC) grants. These provide funds for medium to long-term, industry-led research collaborations.
CRC Round 28 opens in 2027.
