An unidentified individual or group from New York has taken legal action against eight well-known companies in the cybersecurity industry for allegedly infringing on a patent. The lawsuits were filed in both the eastern and western districts of Texas. Secure Matrix LLC, a company established in Delaware in August 2023, is leading the charge against Microsoft Corp., IBM Corp., Bank of America, and five additional foreign companies for violating one specific patent.
