Irvine, California.—Thanks to a recent collaboration with Verizon and Amazon Web Services, Teradek announced a new ultra-low latency monitoring server for its core cloud service: Wavelength Sputnik. Teradek is a member of the Vitec Group’s Creative Solutions division.
Wavelength Sputnik is a new integration that integrates Teradek’s streaming video server (Sputnik) into the Verizon 5G network, which dramatically reduces streaming video latency in connection with Teradek hardware, software and the Core Cloud platform is reduced. The integration offers a 50% performance improvement over Teradek’s existing low-latency options, achieved at lightning-fast 160 ms glass-to-glass.
