– After 14 years at Microsoft, Dev Stahlkopf joins Cisco in August as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer. She has been Microsoft’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary since 2018.
Stahlkopf will replace former Cisco Chief Legal Officer Mark Chandler, who retired in May after 25 years with the network technology company.
Prior to joining Microsoft’s employment law group as an attorney, Stahlkopf was an attorney with the Perkins Coie law firm in Seattle. She is currently on the board of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
The announcement followed a new memo describing how Microsoft is reorganizing its legal team to prepare for increasing technology regulation around the world.
