Tech Moves: Ex-Oracle SVP Joins Qualtrics as CEO; Microsoft accessibility chief takes on new role

Experience management software giant Qualtrics named on Tuesday Jason Maynard as the new CEO. Previously, Maynard spent a decade at Oracle, where he served as executive vice president of revenue operations.

“I’ve spent 30 years in enterprise software; as a founder, as a Wall Street analyst, and as an operator helping scale great companies,” Maynard wrote in one Blog post. “I’ve had a front row seat to some of the biggest changes in our industry, and now we’re in the middle of the biggest changes I’ve ever seen.”

Maynard replaces the former long-time Qualtrics executive Zig SerafinWHO resigned as CEO in October. He remains deputy chairman.
