Artificial intelligence and automation are the main drivers of this change, with most of the culling in 2026 related to AI-driven restructuring.

Meta wants to cut 8,000 jobs

Mark Zuckerberg led Meta The company is reportedly preparing to cut around 8,000 jobs in one of the largest steps of its kind in recent years. According to Reuters, the company plans to cut about 10% of its global workforce in the first round.
