Now that artificial intelligence is clearly on the rise, celebrities are taking notice and fighting back. Pop giant Taylor Swift recently filed three trademark applications, apparently in an attempt to protect her voice and likeness from being recreated without her consent.

Their applications, filed late last week with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, cover different “hearing marks,” namely the singer’s words “Hey, it’s Taylor Swift” and “Hey, it’s Taylor.” They also cover a visual mark, that of the artist holding a pink guitar while standing on stage in a multi-colored bodysuit and silver boots (one of her trademarks).
