ZURICH, October 20 (Reuters) – A Swiss court has dismissed Googles (GoogL.O) Offer to block the award of a government cloud computing contract valued at up to 110 million Swiss francs (US $ 119 million) to competing bidders.

“In an interim decision, the Federal Administrative Court rejects Google’s application for suspensive effect of the complaint. The Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics is therefore allowed to conclude public cloud contracts with the selected bidders,” the court announced on Wednesday.

The decision can be appealed to the Swiss Supreme Court.

The government awarded the contract to Amazon in June (AMZN.O), IBM (IBM.N), Microsoft (MSFT.O), Oracle (ORCL.N) and Alibaba (9988.HK), reported Swiss media.
