Support for 12th and 13th Gen Intel processors with COM-HPC modules

A new high-performance computing (HPC) module called HPC-RPSC has been launched by RDS. This module supports CPUs with up to 24 cores and 32 threads, making it ideal for complex parallel simulations and data analysis using inference models. It can accommodate up to 64GB of DDR5 SODIMM memory and features Intel UHD Graphics 770 along with a PEG 5.0 for GPU integration. The HPC-RPSC also offers three PCIe 4.0 slots and eight PCIe 3.0 slots for expansion, as well as support for SATA and NVMe storage. Additionally, it includes two 2.5 Gbit Ethernet ports (Intel I226-LM) and six USB 3.2 ports for high-speed external communication, with integrated TPM 2.0 for data encryption.

Another HPC module, HPC-ADSC, has also been introduced by RDS. This module is slightly more limited compared to the HPC-RPSC as it can only be used with Gen 12 processors. It features 10 PCIe slots, one USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 port, and Ethernet functionality is provided via the PCIe slots. The COM-HPC Client Size C modules have dimensions measuring 160 x 120 mm and are expected to find applications in test equipment, edge AI servers, and remote monitoring systems.

In conclusion, these new HPC modules from RDS offer high-performance computing capabilities for applications requiring complex simulations and data analysis. With features like support for high core count CPUs, high-speed memory, GPU integration, and expansion slots, these modules are suitable for a variety of industries including edge computing, AI, and monitoring systems. The inclusion of security features such as TPM 2.0 also ensures that data encryption is managed effectively, making these modules a valuable addition to the HPC market.
