Phishing and social engineering remained the top threats to industrial security professionals this year, according to the 2021 Industrial Security Benchmark Study published earlier this year by ThreatSwitch, a provider of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions . Survey respondents also stated that remote worker security practices are the second most common expected threat in 2021, as many workers have still not moved back to corporate headquarters.

The survey focused on the membership of two top organizations: the National Classification Management Society (NCMS) and the Intelligence and National Security Alliance (INSA).
