Student Art Alliance hosts figure drawing event – ​​The New Paltz Oracle

The Student Art Alliance hosted a figure drawing event on Wednesday, November 5th. The theme for this semester was “Mad Hatter Figure Drawing.” The SAA hosts these character drawing events monthly, where live models dress up to match the theme.

Figure drawing events are open to all students, regardless of their level of experience. They last three hours, although students are not obliged to stay the entire time and can arrive at any time.

SAA President Isabella Barcher said, “The club’s main goal is to foster this community for anyone interested in making art and exploring their creative side.” Each event has a different theme to accommodate students with different styles.
