Previously, travelers could only view Southwest flight schedules but had to visit Southwest.com or use the mobile app to see fare prices. Now, with Southwest flight prices being displayed alongside other airlines on Google Flights, users can easily compare different fare classes such as Wanna Get Away, Wanna Get Away Plus, Anytime, and Business Select.
While users can view and compare prices on Google Flights, booking still needs to be done through the Southwest platform as Google Flights does not offer direct booking options for Southwest flights. However, users can enable price tracking to receive alerts when prices drop and utilize customizable filters to find the best flight for their travel needs.
Other online travel agencies and flight booking sites do not yet have access to real-time Southwest prices, with the exception of Chase Ultimate Rewards for select travel credit card customers.
