Prime Day 2021 starts in a few days. Prime members receive exclusive technology and gaming discounts on Amazon. Additionally, other retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, and Target each have their own offerings that don’t require a subscription. We’ll be covering the deals in depth starting Monday morning June 21st, so come join us. We collect them The best deals for early Prime Day here, but here are a few more great deals that will bring us into the weekend.
Through Sunday, people who sign up for a free My Best Buy account can get $ 150 off most Apple’s latest generation 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pros. This time-limited price drop translates into the best prices we’ve seen for Wi-Fi and LTE connected tablets. To give you a feel for the pricing, the base 11-inch model with 128GB of storage costs $ 600 – the same price as the iPad Air with half the storage. The 256GB 11-inch model costs just $ 100 more at $ 700. If you want a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the base 128GB model is $ 850.
The latest Apple TV 4K model with the A12 Bionic processor, 32 GB of storage and the improved Siri Remote was included Discounted for the first time on Amazon. Granted, it’s a small price cut of just $ 10, but discounts on brand new Apple products are rare. Doubling the storage costs only $ 20. If you want to learn more about this model, take a look Review by my colleague Chris Welch.
The digital version of Paper Mario: The Origami King for the Nintendo Switch is discounted at several retailers (via Slick deals). Typically $ 60, you can grab a copy from Amazon, Target, Best Buy, or GameStop for $ 42, which is the lowest price we’ve seen. We called it a “laugh out loud fun RPG”, and his clever origami art style lends itself to interesting battles and environmental set pieces.
Sony’s latest generation WH-1000XM3 wireless noise-canceling headphones are only $ 200 Amazon and Best buy for the black model. Originally $ 350, this is the lowest price we’ve seen for new models at major retailers. The differences between this one and the newer one XM4 are marginal depending on who you ask. They look identical and have the same fantastic sound quality, but the XM4 has improved noise canceling effect and microphone performance, a remove-to-pause feature, and supports two simultaneous Bluetooth connections. Those are great features that, for some, are worth the extra buck, but if you can live without them, for the price, the XM3 is as good as you can get.
