SKF and Amazon join forces to “reinvent” machine reliability.
SKF and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have announced a collaboration to “reinvent” the field of industrial machine reliability and predictive maintenance. They plan to provide an easy-to-use and easy-to-scale condition monitoring and analytics package that will bring the ability to collect and analyze data using ML (machine learning) technologies to more applications and users.
As a first step, SKF combines his knowledge of rotating machinery and predictive maintenance AWS‘s industrial AI services that bring together industrial expertise, AI and ML technologies. They will offer sensors, gateways and an ML service that is easy to install, deploy and scale. The companies will also collaborate on the next generation of SKF’s data analytics platform.
