‘Simple’ AI Hardware Introduced by HPE CEO to Support Businesses

Hewlett Packard Enterprise CEO Antonio Neri has introduced a new line of hardware, software, and services designed for companies looking to implement various forms of artificial intelligence at a conference in Las Vegas. Since the launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT in 2022, businesses have been eager to integrate AI to optimize their data management. Neri emphasized the challenges companies face in building and running AI applications, highlighting the need for simplicity.

HPE believes that there is a significant market for AI hardware beyond the companies focused on cutting-edge technology. Neri stated that there are potentially hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of companies that could benefit from advanced AI solutions. Currently, HPE’s AI business for this segment accounts for about 15% of its AI revenue, with the majority going to major cloud computing providers like Amazon and Microsoft.

HPE’s new offerings include servers equipped with Nvidia GPUs for AI processing, along with a range of other hardware and software products. These products are set to be available in the fall. HPE also plans to provide consulting services to assist companies with managing and maintaining their AI systems.

Neri’s goal with this announcement is to accelerate the deployment of AI and drive the industrial revolution forward. HPE’s initiative aims to simplify the adoption of AI for a broader range of companies, making the technology more accessible and manageable for businesses of all sizes.
