Have you fallen for artificial intelligence-generated content lately? Or maybe you find it harder to spot a scam online?
You’re not alone – research from Good Things Australia points to a growing digital skills shortage in the age of AI.
The research shows almost 48 per cent of Australians are finding it increasingly difficult to spot fraud, while 29 per cent say they can’t always tell if something online is AI-generated.
People over 65 are at increased risk of falling victim to scams.
According to the report, almost 60 percent of older people are afraid of being scammed online. The report also suggests that it is becoming increasingly difficult to tell what is real and what is not in the digital sphere.
