Sectigo, a global provider of automated solutions for digital certificate management and web security, announced the acquisition of SiteLock, a leading provider of website security protection and monitoring. The transaction also included Patchman, a Netherlands-based provider of CMS solutions for scanning and patching vulnerabilities as part of the automated content management system (CMS). With the acquisition of SiteLock, Sectigo expands its product capabilities, partner network and reach to more than 16 million websites currently protected by Sitelock. The combined organization establishes a leadership position in web security.

The global demand for advanced web security is at an all-time high, especially in times of remote work and increasingly frequent and complex cyber attacks. Sales with the Sectigo Web Security Platform rose by almost 40% in the second half of 2020.
