A shortcut, per Appleis “a quick way to get one or more tasks done with your apps” and Apple’s free Shortcuts app is indeed a popular tool that can save you a lot of time.
There are pre-made shortcuts, such as the popular “Speed Dial,” which gives you quick access to a specific contact, and “Running Late,” which lets you notify a contact if you’re late in scheduling a meeting. You can browse and search these and more in the Gallery section of the Shortcuts app.
