WASHINGTON – The Treasury Department on Thursday struck six Russian tech companies with sanctions for assisting Kremlin intelligence agencies involved in “dangerous and disruptive cyber attacks.”

But only one of them is characterized by its international presence and partnerships with IT heavyweights such as Microsoft and IBM.
