The QN900A series is at the heart of the Neo QLED 8K series. This is available in 65-inch, 75-inch, and 85-inch sizes, all of which are based on Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology Pro display system. According to Samsung, Quantum Mini LEDs are combined with a more precise dimming system for the backlight.
It’s powered by the Neo Quantum Processor 8K, which claims to use scene-by-scene AI optimization to improve the overall image quality. There’s also HDR10 + support and 8K AI upscaling, with Samsung also promising 100 percent color volume in the DCI-P3 color space. Samsung then packs all of this in a thin infinity screen case with an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and a wider viewing angle than before.
Object Tracking Sound Pro (OTS Pro) is stranded in the QN900A series for more accurate positioning of 3D sound and is automatically configured based on the acoustics of the room and its assembly. A slim stand is included, or the display can be wall-mounted instead. Multi-View shows several inputs at the same time.
Pricing starts at $ 4,999.99 for the 65-inch QN900A, $ 6,999.99 for the 75-inch QN900A, and $ 8,999.99 for the 85-inch QN900A. Pre-orders are possible from today. Samsung says the sets should ship by March 13th. Those who pre-order will get a $ 120 professional TV montage, claims Samsung.
