Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will reportedly offer up to 1TB of local storage, more pictures will leak

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra lives up to its name, with a note merger and now the option of having up to 1 TB of storage on board.

SamMobile reports that, according to sources familiar with the development of the device, Samsung will add a 1TB tier of storage for its Galaxy S22 Ultra. That is twice as much storage space as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and four times as much as the Galaxy S21 Ultra can currently deliver.

In particular, it is possible that this variant of the Galaxy S22 Ultra with 1 TB of storage will be available exclusively for Samsung’s own store, should it be released at all.

The last time Samsung released a smartphone with 1TB of storage was the Galaxy S10 +, which was priced at $ 1,600. It’s unclear how much the Galaxy S22 Ultra could cost with the same tier of storage, but a price in the same order of magnitude seems likely.

Now a Twitter user Posted @ hypark22 a handful of pictures of the Galaxy S22 Ultra this week showing the matte black model, its blown camera array, and the Note-like flat edges.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 series early next year, probably in February.
