According to users in Russia, Samsung has started rolling out a One UI 3.0 update based on Android 11 for its affordable Galaxy A01 smartphone, which was originally released with Android 10 at the end of 2019.
The firmware version is A015FXXU4BUD8 and it also includes the April security patch. And while we don’t have a changelog, it’s not difficult to assume what’s new.
The key changes and features for Android 11 and One UI 3.0 should be at hand – new UI design courtesy of One UI, as well as features for Android 11 such as one-time permissions, chat bubbles, conversation grouping in the notification area, and built-in media controls within the notification shadow and various other security and performance improvements.
Currently we only have information for the Russian market, but it won’t be long before the new update reaches the rest of the global market.
