The Galaxy A82’s design and specs were revealed as part of the Galaxy Quantum 2 leak
The thing is that the Galaxy A Quantum 2 will likely be exclusive to Korea, but it will likely be released worldwide as the Galaxy A82. Samsung already announced the Galaxy A52, A52 5G and A72 last month. So all that’s missing is the Galaxy A82.
The phone is likely to hit the market in the near future and will be more powerful than its siblings. Thanks to this leak, we can not only check the technical data, but also look at the device itself.
As you can see in the image below, the Galaxy Quantum 2, also known as the Galaxy A82, features a familiar design. The phone has thin bezels, a flat screen and a centered camera hole.
The rear-facing camera setup is similar to that of the Galaxy S21 series, but only to a certain extent. This camera body is not an extension of the phone frame or anything like that. It will offer a sleeker design.
The device offers a 120 Hz display and fast charging for Android 11 and 25 W.
Now for the technical data. The device has a 6.7-inch FullHD + Super AMOLED display. Incidentally, this display offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The Snapdragon 855+ is supposed to fuel this smartphone.
The phone will also contain 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Android 11 will come pre-installed along with Samsung’s One UI skin.
A 64-megapixel main camera is on the back of the device, while two more cameras are added. Unfortunately we don’t have any information about these two cameras yet.
A 4,500 mAh battery is included and supports fast wired charging with 25 W. A 15 W charger is included in the scope of delivery. So if you want to use the full charging speed, you need a separate charger.
Dolby Atmos support will be included as well as a built-in fingerprint scanner. The phone weighs 203 grams and is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance.
The Galaxy A Quantum 2 will go on sale on April 23rd and pre-order on April 13th. The Galaxy A82 is expected to follow soon.
