The Jets continue to stockpile players at the safety position this offseason.
They have agreed to a one-year deal with Andre Cisco, sources confirmed on Friday.
Cisco’s contract could be worth up to $5.25 million, according to NFL Network.
The Jets signed Cisco, 25, to a one-year contract last year after four seasons with the Jaguars. It was a bit of a homecoming for Cisco, who was born in Queens and grew up in Valley Stream.
He started eight games before suffering a season-ending pectoral muscle injury against the Bengals, which required surgery. Cisco registered 41 tackles and one fumble recovery.
After struggling last year with Cisco and Tony Adams as their starters, the Jets have revamped the safety position this offseason. They acquired Minkah Fitzpatrick in a trade with the Dolphins and signed former Giants safety Dane Belton this week.
Adams signed with the Titans, which will reunite him with former Jets coach Robert Saleh.
