Russia’s Positive Technologies responds to US Treasury sanctions.
As we have seen, last week the Biden administration announced sanctions against six Russian companies suspected of assisting in espionage and election abuse efforts, including cybersecurity firm Positive Technologies. The fast-growing, decade-old company claims to have thousands of customers in dozens of countries, including the Kremlin, and until last week was a long-time participant in Microsoft’s advanced security vulnerability sharing program, according to SecurityWeek.
According to Washington, Moscow’s secret services are using Positive Technologies’ “Positive Hack Days” initiative as a recruiting tool. The company reacted to the sanctions by pointing out its policy of “maximum openness”, its goal …
