The Pentagon is considering the $ 10 billion JEDI cloud computing deal. The Wall Street Journal reported Monday. The journal cited recent legislative complaints about the project. Some suggest that the Pentagon should drop JEDI and split the contract across multiple vendors.

The massive project to migrate the Pentagon’s computer infrastructure and data to the cloud faced several obstacles after Microsoft won the contract in 2019. Amazon, a forerunner of the contract, has since fought a lawsuit. She accuses former President Trump, among other things, of inappropriately influencing the Department of Defense.

A federal judge last month declined to reject allegations that Trump interfered with the treaty and allowed Amazon to continue its argument in court.
