The Citrix iForum conference dedicated to Windows Terminal Services and Server-Based Computing just wrapped up, with a record attendance of over 3,000 people. Highlights included keynotes showcasing Wyse’s Blazer portal device and tools for Citrix MetaFrame 2.0. The exhibition hall featured vendors focused on internal terminal services, although some ran out of gifts early on. Work sessions had increased technical content compared to previous years, but some felt rushed with limited time. Despite the success of this year’s event, there were concerns about the venue becoming too crowded. iForum remains a valuable conference for networking, accessing vendors, and discovering useful tools and solutions. Attendees are encouraged to provide feedback for future improvements. If you missed out this year, consider joining next fall.
