Tim Rod, Red River’s chief technology officer, sees security technologies and software-defined wide area networks as some of the emerging technologies that will have a huge impact on the business of the federal government in the years to come.
He told FedScoop in an interview published on Wednesday that the shift to remote working and attacks on the supply chain amid the COVID-19 pandemic has led authorities to adopt security technologies.
Rod also discussed how the platform-centric view of information technology helps agencies make their mission support more effective.
