Recent leak reveals specifications of Intel Core Ultra 200V ‘Lunar Lake’ CPU: Introducing the Core Ultra 9 288V as the latest flagship processor.

Intel is gearing up to release its next-generation Core Ultra 200V series, codenamed “Lunar Lake,” which was previewed at Computex 2024. New leaks have revealed details about the upcoming CPUs, including the flagship Core Ultra 9 288V model.

The Core Ultra 9 288V is set to be the top-tier Lunar Lake processor, featuring 30W PL1 and PL2 power specifications. This chip stands out as the only one in the lineup with a 30W PL1 rating. Additionally, the Core Ultra 9 288V will come equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5-8533 memory, P-Core boosts up to 5.1 GHz, E-Core boosts up to 3.7 GHz, and integrated Xe2-GPU “Battlemage” graphics via Arc 140V running at speeds of up to 2.05 GHz. The NPU4 on the Core Ultra 9 288V is expected to deliver up to 48 TOPS for AI workloads, while the XMX is anticipated to offer up to 67 TOPS.

Other models in the Core Ultra 200V “Lunar Lake” series include the Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5, which will feature 8 or 7 Xe2 cores of the Battlemage GPU and 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5-8533 memory. Importantly, memory will be included in the package for Lunar Lake chips, meaning there won’t be any RAM upgrades available for these systems in the future.

Intel is also transitioning to a new naming convention for its integrated GPUs with the Lunar Lake series, introducing the “Arc 140V” and “Arc 130V” designations. The Core Ultra 9 and Core Ultra 7 models will come equipped with Arc 140V GPUs featuring 8 Xe2-Cores, while the Core Ultra 5 variants will feature Arc 130V GPUs with 7 Xe2-Cores. The Core Ultra 9 288V will see its Arc 140V GPU clocked at 2.05 GHz, while the lower-end Lunar Lake chips will have their Arc 130V GPUs running at 1.85 GHz.

Overall, the upcoming Core Ultra 200V “Lunar Lake” CPUs promise improved performance and efficiency, with a range of models catering to different needs and budgets. With enhancements in areas such as memory, graphics, and AI capabilities, these processors are set to deliver a compelling user experience for a variety of computing tasks. Stay tuned for the official launch of the Core Ultra 200V series from Intel.
