Most Australian companies have not meaningfully adopted artificial intelligence beyond the use of digital assistants such as Microsoft’s Copilot, with adoption well below levels seen in other major economies, according to a survey of businesses overseen by the Reserve Bank of Australia.
The survey, part of the central bank’s efforts to understand how technology investments impact businesses, said AI adoption “has been low so far, with almost 40 percent indicating minimal use so far.”
