As the world’s leading cloud computing providers master the digital boom and drive the digital revolution, I forecast the following cloud sales for the third quarter: Microsoft $ 20.5 billion, Amazon $ 15.3 billion, Google $ 7.04 billion and IBM $ 7.3 billion.
On my weekly Cloud Wars Top 10 Ranking lists, Microsoft is # 1, Amazon is # 2, Google is # 3, and IBM is # 9. (Revenue is just one of the factors that determine ranking.)
A little more detail on these estimates – they’re actually estimates, but people like me who make these estimates call them “estimates” to create the illusion of superior knowledge – including growth rates:
