The resolution of the PS5 PSVR headset is 4000 × 2080 pixels, which is 2000 × 2040 pixels per eye. This corresponds to a total of around 8.3 million pixels, which is slightly more than the typical 4K display outputs. The device also uses USB Type C to connect the headset to the console. Unlike its predecessor, the new headset will use built-in cameras to track the controllers, seemingly simplifying the PSVR’s setup.
