Sony is released a new miniature PlayStation 5 trailer dedicated to the console Game Boost This feature is a marketing buzzword for the way backward compatibility improves select PlayStation 4 games. Obviously we’ve seen them Days gone and Spirit of Tsushima transformed with post-release patches – and it’s cool, it’s only overshadowed by Microsoft’s superior efforts.
So this trailer got a lot of attention online. Many have pointed to the inclusion of Shadow of the colossus In the footage, which is a version that has not yet been specifically patched to run better on PS5 – although, like all games, it uses next-gen console hardware to fix any issues that the PS4 Pro has encountered .
There’s also a Game Boost logo at the very end of the trailer that we’ve never seen before. This is how it looks:
We have to admit the branding is weird. Perhaps Sony plans to take this step further. As for the trailer itself – it’s just an expanded clip of this great one Play ads like never before The manufacturer released a couple of weeks ago. For a few days now, all functions have been divided into individual trailers.
Personally, we’d love to see more key PS4 titles improved on PS5, as is the case with releases Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Born in blood are still brilliant and could really benefit from the new hardware. Sony seems to be more focused on new titles, however, and while the next-gen console’s backward compatibility is still very good, we probably just have to accept that it will never be quite at the level of the competition.
