Two King County men are charged with theft after police said they stole more than $200,000 worth of laptop computers from Microsoft.
But the suspects worked for Microsoft at the time and were identified in part because of the cardkey used during the incident, police said.
One of the suspects also removed a mask he was wearing thinking he was out of view of surveillance cameras – but he wasn’t, according to prosecutors.
The incident happened in July, and the charges were filed earlier this month. As of Oct. 10, none of the laptops have been recovered.
