Xiaomi Mi 11 with Snapdragon 888 SoC, 108MP camera, fast charging goes global

Well, it’s been a minute since we reported on this Xiaomi on the show and, but I think it has a lot to do with their new and premium approach. Regardless, the company has just announced the new Mi 11 Global. The Mi 11 has a 6.81-inch QHD + AMOLED display with 120 Hz. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 with 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage and a 4600 mAh battery with 55 W fast charge . When it comes to cameras, this phone has a triple camera array with a 108MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide sensor and a 5MP macro sensor. It’s capable of shooting 8K HDR 10+ video, and it also rocks a 20MP selfie shooter on the front. Now this phone also supports things like 50W wireless charging, 10W reverse charging and stereo speakers tuned by Harman Kardon and an IR blaster. Talk about an explosion from the past. Do you get it? The reason we’re reporting on it is that the Mi 11 starts at a much more reasonable 750 euros for the entry-level model and is expected to hit the market in mid-February. My device should arrive at the studio around this time, and I am planning a review. So be sure to keep an eye on this.

OnePlus 9 Pro Leak reveals the company’s partnership with Hasselblad

OnePlus 9 is said to have the same display as the OnePlus 8T

Let’s turn the headlight on OnePlus We’re approaching the supposed early March start as we speak. So far we’ve got our hands on several pictures of the OnePlus 9, but over the weekend someone decided to share a ton of them with others Dave 2D and well, these reveal everything you need to know. Well, most of these things we had already seen from the previous leaks, like the same hole-hole display that, according to a teaser, will be the exact same flat display as the OnePlus 8T. We also see the silver, shiny design as well as the USB-C port. Probably the biggest change from these leaks is the new camera module with the Hasselblad logo. Several rumors have said that Leica’s new cameras will be discontinued, but it looks like it won’t. It’s not the first time Hasselblad has worked with a smartphone maker to develop a Moto-Mod for the Moto Z, but that was horrible. So I have no hope. This phone is expected to contain a quad camera array with 2 48MP sensors and 2 smaller sensors for important things like a 2MP macro that you will never use. We’ll see what we get and let us know if the Hasselblad branding will give you a better opinion of what’s to come.

Hyundai is not under discussion to develop Apple Car: Report

Let’s go back to Apple’s less conventional endeavors as some of them have caused quite a stir. Let’s talk first Apple car asRecently, a Hyundai statement said they were in talks with Apple, but of course it was an early stage and nothing has been decided yet. According to a new report from Bloomberg, Hyundai and its subsidiary Kia have announced that they will not speak to Apple about the development of the Apple Car. Kind of a contradicting reason why the first statement was actually made by Hyundai Motors. But apparently what really happens is that Apple interrupted discussions weeks ago as they apparently discussed similar plans with other manufacturers. We know the company put a pretty large chunk of the money in, but they could also have discussions with Japanese manufacturers which would be nice to see. If you remember, Apple moved on to another topic and announced that the chief of hardware development would be focusing on other projects, but you know this is never announced. Well, a new report claims the switch to AR and VR headsets is happening. This move is similar to Phil Schiller’s last year, when he moved from a senior position to an area that still needs oversight. So far, when it comes to Apple’s AR and VR devices, we expect the Apple Glasses and Mixed Reality headset that we saw last week.

Foldable iPhone with clamshell design and many color options?

Finally, let’s talk for the hottest news today Apple and the future of the iPhones. We’ve heard rumors about foldable iPhones for years, but it always seemed far-fetched. Now that there is indeed a foldable market, these have unfolded again. Today we have a new report from Jon Prosser in which he gives us several details about what and when to expect it. Apple has reportedly tested two different prototypes of the foldable iPhone, but according to Prosser, Apple will appear to be sticking to the clamshell design as it gets more attention internally even if both pass the tests. He also claims that one of the goals here is to offer these in the “fun” and “colorful” colors that we get on the iPhone 12 series, rather than the serious tones of the pros. Now we expect these products to come at a high price, but it seems that Apple wants to market these products as a fun and youthful product, unlike Samsung which treats its leaflets more like a productivity tool. So yes, the high price may not be the case. Eventually Prosser debunked the rumors that we would be coming next year, claiming he didn’t know how far they were going, but it wasn’t going to happen next year.
