Perplexity has launched Model Council, a new feature designed to help users get more accurate and balanced answers by comparing responses from multiple AI models. The tool allows users to submit a single question to three different models simultaneously. Each model generates an independent response, which Perplexity’s built-in synthesizer then analyzes and compiles into a structured summary.

The summary highlights where models agree, where they differ, and any unique insights provided by individual systems. Users can also review each model’s full answer for deeper understanding. The feature is particularly useful for research, complex decision-making, creative projects, and fact-checking, where relying on a single AI output can lead to inconsistencies.
