People warned against relying on AI

Apple’s virtual assistant Siri was one of the first mainstream efforts to integrate AI technology into a product. However, people are now advised to be careful with AI and not rely on it too much. “People trust these systems too much and take their answers at face value,” said Babak Hodjat, Cognizant’s chief AI officer. “It’s up to all of us to learn what the limits are.” This comes as some of the tech world’s biggest names gathered in Lisbon for Web Summit 2025, a sprawling showcase of the latest technologies and ideas.
