Rockstars final edition of GTA trilogy had a, um, not that great launch last weekAnd now Rockstar responded by returning all the original trilogy on the PC. You know, the one with surprisingly fewer mistakes.

In one Blog post today, Rockstar apologized for that numerous technical problems the remakes plagued and acknowledged that they had not met the standards and that the studio planned to “address the technical issues and improve every game in the future,” starting with an update in the coming days.

In the meantime, however, Rockstar went on to admit that it might had the original trilogy of not final output should not be removed from the windows last month back before the release of the final output, and so there is the original Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas in a bundle at the Rockstar Store. They’re also giving away the bundle for free to anyone who purchases the Definitive Edition trilogy through June 30, 2022 through the Rockstar Store. Unfortunately, there’s nothing here on whether the original trilogy will return to the other storefronts it was pulled from, including consoles and Steam.

Bugs and technical problems are a significant part of the problem with the final editions, but in our review We’ve pointed out a number of other ways in which the return of the GTA trilogy was surprisingly disrespectful to the original creations. In the meantime, a more mysterious note, Fans think they might have found a teaser for GTA 6 hidden in a photo in the Definitive Edition.
