On Wednesday, oracle informed investors that capital expenditure would be increased in the current financial year to 50 billion US dollars from a previous forecast of $35 billion due to new contracts from companies like Meta And Nvidia.
That’s not the only way the software giant plans to provide robust computing power to meet increasing demand. The rental agreements will also be increased.
As of Nov. 30, Oracle had $248 billion in data center and cloud leasing commitments ranging from 15 to 19 years, the company disclosed quarterly submission on Thursday. That is 148% more than at the end of August.
