Oracle’s CEO has outlined the latest phase of the company’s efforts to build “the world’s largest AI cloud” for customers around the world.
Mike Sicilia spoke at the company’s Oracle AI Tour World London 2026 about the countless opportunities the company offers AI toolsand compared the current technological situation to that in which propeller aircraft were replaced by jet engines.
“Expectations in the age of AI simply haven’t increased – they’ve completely reset,” he noted, “Things that seemed out of order just a few years ago, a few months ago, and in some cases just a few weeks ago, are now the new normal.”
