Oracle stock reacts to Q4 results
The The results showed that sales skyrocketed by 24% to $17.2 billion, with cloud share rising 44% to $8.9 billion. Infrastructure rose 84% to $4.9 billion, while cloud applications rose 13% to $4 billion.
While those numbers were good, the company also announced that it is raising an additional $50 billion in a combination of debt and equity. At that point, the company had raised $30 billion and had yet to begin leveraging its equity in the market. The company ended the quarter with over $124 billion in long-term debt, up from $85 billion in the same period last year.
Benzinga Pro Data shows analysts expect upcoming results to show fourth-quarter revenue rose 20% to $19 billion. If true, annual revenue will be $67 billion, up 17% year over year. Annual sales will then rise to $88 billion in the next fiscal year.
