Oracle has signed a six-year deal with an Australian modular data center maker worth $2.3 billion, making Canberra-based Datapod a major beneficiary of the cloud computing giant’s expansion plans.

The two-decade-old company primarily supplies the Australian government and military intelligence agencies and has been in talks with Oracle about a potential deal for more than two years.
