New Delhi: Around 12,000 employees of US IT company Oracle have reportedly been laid off in India, while another round of layoffs is expected within a month Press Trust of India. The company has laid off around 30,000 employees worldwide.

“Around 12,000 employees have been laid off in India. The company is planning another mass layoff within a month,” two people affected by the layoffs said on Tuesday (March 30), including one from the company’s human resources department, PTI reported.

The company’s total headcount in India is Rs 30,000, including those affected by the layoffs. Oracle declined to comment on the development.
