oracle (ORCL, Finance) announced that Oracle Life Sciences AI Data Platform, a new generative AI Tool that will help pharmaceutical and medical research companies accelerate drug development, clinical trials and safety assessments. The platform combines consumer data, data from other sources and over 129 million anonymized health data from Oracle Health Real-World Data. It uses AI-powered analysis and reasoning to simplify research workflows and regulatory submissions. Seema Verma, executive vice president of Oracle Health and Life Sciences, noted, “Fragmented, inconsistent data is a major obstacle to medical progress.” She claimed that the platform will help researchers find new information faster and help patients achieve better outcomes.
